Richmond, Va. — In a back-and-forth slugfest that went down to the final quarter, Richmond delivered the decisive punch when it mattered most. Locked in an even battle for three quarters, the No. 2 Spiders broke an 8–8 tie entering the fourth by outscoring No. 13 Georgetown 6–2 in the final period to secure a 14–10 victory Saturday at Robins Stadium, improving to 6–0 on the season and continuing the best start in program history.
